40 young women and men trained in practical digital skills through the KCERP programme, funded by the European Union through GCRF and ACT!.

Jobs, services and business opportunities increasingly depend on being able to use a computer or smartphone well. Through the KCERP programme, funded by the European Union through GCRF and ACT!, VOPA trained 40 young women and men in digital literacy.

What participants learned

  • Confident use of computers and smartphones
  • Email and online communication
  • Finding information, jobs and services online
  • Staying safe online
  • Basic office skills for work and business

Certificates and next steps

Participants who completed the course received certificates, as the photos show. The skills support job searches, further study and small businesses, and complement VOPA's wider youth and women empowerment work.
